About LetItPlayProductions

Let It Play Production (LIP) history is simple. The brain-child of this company is Cornelius M. Jackson (C.J.). He is a very compassionate and sensitive man. He has always had the thought in the back of his mind that women are often displayed as "servants" and or "maids" to men. He really began to notice even more of a servant/maid mentality of some clergy as he grew in the ministry. He knew in his heart and mind that "something is wrong with this picture!" Who are we really serving and why it seems that these people of all people want to be served? During his college days at Stillman (Tuscaloosa) he wrote and directed a stage play that lead him in the direction of his life long dreams to publish this book Zombies In The Church and to pursue the pending documentary If I Knew then.... As far as my involvement, I am Patricia C. Davis. I was blessed to meet C.J. in 2005 after the sudden and unexpected death of my 41 year old husband. He was a devoted friend to my husband and through our sharing of mutual memories he and I developed a one of a kind friendship. After hours and hours of conversations C.J. began to notice that even though I had no man in my life (except my 2 year old son) I was a very independent woman that waited for no one to do for me what I could do for myself. So he began to intensely question and listen to me. I simply explained my independence to him through the words of my 35 plus year military Veteran father; that taught me to never allow yourself to serve or to become totally dependant on anyone except yourself and "GOD"! Once we established our similar convictions we teamed up working night, months, and even years later to form Let It Play Productions begining with our book Zombies In The Church and pending documentary.
