Cheryl Yarrington, RD, MS, CD, CLE
Cheryl has clinical experience working in the WIC Program for more than 25 years. She has counseled numerous families promoting healthy eating habits and the importance of family meals. She enjoys translating current nutrition knowledge into practical, easy to read nutrition education materials. She believes families want to receive helpful hints, ideas and recipes to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Cheryl has received her bachelor of science degree in Dietetics and master of science degree in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. Cheryl is a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the American Dietetic Association and Wisconsin Certified Dietitian (CD). She is also a Certified Lactation Educator (CLE).
Cheryl has developed, implemented and evaluated several nutrition education projects involving the Head Start Program, WIC Program, Cooperative Extension - Family Living Program and other community agencies. Many of these projects nutrition education for families with young children. Cheryl is also the mother of 2 children.
Cheryl is the author and editor of the Mealtime Parenting cards, New WIC Food cards, Preschool Children Nutrition cards, Nutrition Newsletters (SmartFood, KidFood, BabyTime and Healthy Families), and Nubites tipsheets. Nutrition Matters Inc. is the sole source of these nutrition education materials.

Stefanie Yarrington, BA
Stefanie has received her bachelor of arts degree in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. She has a passion for designing colorful education materials that are easy to read and reinforce key nutrition concepts.
