We invite you to journey through the lands and witness the beauty Mother Earth has created right below our feet. Each continent is home to breathtaking geological and gemological wonders. We must treat them respect and be grateful when the earth allows us to hold them in our hands.
We chose the name "Doongara" because it represented the feeling of the opals we cut. Doongara is the aboriginal word for "lightening". This lightening shoots through the opals, bringing a variety of colors, patterns and flashes unknown to any other stone. While we respect and adore all stones of the world, opals hold a special passion for us ... they are the "Doongara" of the earth.
